One of the men accused of robbing the Mazatzal Casino earlier this year has taken a plea deal.

Armando Pablo Ochoa, 32, will plead guilty to use of a firearm during a violent crime, according to online court records filed Nov. 27.

Sentencing is set for Feb. 25.

He faces at least 10 years in prison with the possibility of a life sentence and a maximum fine of $250,000.

The plea deal with the District of Arizona U.S. Attorney’s Office stipulates that Ochoa serve a mandatory 10 years in prison.

On July 17, Ochoa and Ryan Pearson, also known as Nathan Pearson, met to rob the casino, where they worked, according to court documents.

The men arrived armed in the early morning hours dressed all in black, their faces covered with masks.
