Rich History
San José's Premier Card Club has a Rich History: Sutters Club was founded in 1929 by Joseph Sutter Sr. at Old Alviso Road and Highway 237 in Alviso, California. Through those early years, the Club was a very popular entertainment spot in the South Bay Area. When Mr. Sutter died in 1947, Joseph Sutter Jr. took over the business, and added 5 poker tables in 1961.
Change of Location
When the State of California began widening Highway 237 in 1992, the Alviso location closed, and a new site was selected on Bering Drive in San José, just off East Brokaw Road at US101. Bay101 Club opened in September of 1994, and quickly earned recognition throughout the gaming community as one of the finest clubs on the west coast.
Spacious Beauty
First time visitors are always amazed at the spacious beauty of the 72,000 square foot facility, the open and airy gaming area, and the many other outstanding amenities available at Bay101.
