Two Poker Rooms
Commerce has two separate poker rooms: one for the low and middle limits in the older casino area and one for the high limits in the newer hotel area. Playing $10-$10 no-limit or higher or $30-$60 limit or higher or puts you in the high-limit room, which offers free food. Small buy-in no-limit games and $1-$2 to $20-$40 limit games are in the other area. There's a $100 no-limit buy-in game with $2 and $3 blinds and a $200 buy-in no-limit game with $3 and $5 blinds.
Rakes and Collections
The rake at a full table in the $5 blind no limit game is $5 per hand (including a jackpot and promotional fee). The pot is raked even if there is no flop. The higher blind no limit games charge a collection of $9 or $11 per half hour or more. This is the most expensive in California.
