Murder. April 15, 1998.
A dealer walked off the job at this room, then known as Sal's Town, on the night of a poker tournament. He was fired.
He drove to a card room in Ventura county, gambled and lost. He then borrowed some money from the manager, lost some more and went to an ATM. The machine didn't allow the withdrawal.
He returned with a 9-millimeter handgun and shot the manager, delivering a fatal head wound.
