GAME FAIRNESS / COLLUSION

To ensure the fairness of the game and the randomness of the shuffle, we employ a sophisticated random number generator (RNG) and shuffling algorithms.

When playing poker online or in land based facilities alike, there is always a possibility of players teaming up against other players. In the PokerWorld we call that collusion. Collusion is when two or more players on the same table work together as a team, unfairly knowing each other's cards, and betting with this knowledge in order to maximize their team's profits. Collusion destroys the integrity of any poker game.

We have designed a number of triggering mechanisms to alert us of the possibility of players playing in collusion with each other. To prevent abuse, these players are automatically suspended pending an investigation by poker room management. After a thorough investigation, the decision is made whether the player should be permanently removed from the membership of the poker room. Since no system is perfect and some people can get rather creative when devising a plot to cheat, we encourage you to contact us each time you suspect foul play and we will investigate all complaints and make decisions accordingly. For your convenience, we record all the games and you can request your game history at any time by going to lobby and clicking on "Host" then "Game History".

  PokerWorld.com requires that new customers declare they are of lawful age in their respective jurisdiction, and we pursue reasonable measures to verify this information. When in doubt, we reserve the right to request proof of identification and other related documents.
  
• Controlling Compulsive Gambling
  Compulsive gambling can be very destructive not only to the individuals that are affected by it but also the gambling establishments as well. To prevent this occurrence or to minimize it's impact on the individual players, we have established a controlled limits on deposits thus limiting players on the amount of money they can deposit per day, per week or month. In addition, our software has a number of triggering mechanisms alerting operations management of potential abuse.
